SPRINGHILL, N.S. – As shared on March 4, All Saints Springhill Hospital inpatients were evacuated due to presence of smoke and the site was closed to allow time for assessment and remediation. The hospital will remain temporarily closed tomorrow, March 6 for assessment and remediation.

A total of twenty-one inpatients were evacuated. These patients were transferred to sites inside of the Northern Zone, or discharged home. Affected patients and their families were advised of the temporary move.

Led by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, the Seniors LINCS (Living Independently with Community Supports) program connects seniors in Kings and Annapolis Counties with programs and services to help them age safely in the comfort of their homes.

Made up of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, a rehabilitation assistant and social workers, the team provides tailored support and facilitates independence while ensuring the safety and well-being of its clients.
