Traffic Impacts on Robie Street Near Halifax Infirmary – April 25, 2026
 
Nova Scotia Health is advising crane operations will continue on Robie Street, on Saturday, April 25, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. All southbound lanes on Robie Street will be closed between Quinpool Road and Jubilee Road.


Patients and visitors are advised to use alternate routes during this time. Sidewalks and pedestrian access will remain open. The emergency department will remain open and fully accessible throughout the work.

School Immunization Program

The School Immunization Program is a partnership between Public Health and the Regional Centres for Education, Conseil scolaire acadien provincial and private schools to offer free, routine vaccines to students in grade 7. The vaccines available as part of this program include:

  • HPV (Human papillomavirus)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Meningococcal disease types A, C, W & Y
  • Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough [pertussis])

Youth who missed their grade 7 immunizations can get caught up on these important vaccines for free until they turn 19. Check Public Health Immunization Clinic listings for upcoming Grade 7 School Immunization Catch-up Clinics, or call your local Public Health office.
