Visitors are welcome daily between 1 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Please check with nursing staff, if you want to visit outside of the standard visiting hours.

A $4 parking fee will be charged when you exit the hospital parking lot. Please make sure you have correct change before leaving the hospital. Monthly parking passes are available and can be paid with credit or debit.

Space in our private and semi-private rooms is limited. The sooner we have your insurance information the more likely we are to be able to accommodate your request.
When the booking clerk calls with your hospital admission date, let them know you are interested in a private or semi-private room.
When you are admitted, be sure to have your private insurance card with you and let the admitting clerk know you have requested a private or semi-private room.TV & Phone in your Room

TV Service
Bedside TV rental is available. The cost is $11 + tax per day. If you have requested a private or semi private room, the cost of the TV services will be covered. There is information provided in your room to set up your TV.
Phone Service
Bedside telephone service is available. There is a connection fee for this service and you will also be charged a daily rate and will be billed for any long distance calls. To set up your phone service, dial 899 from your bedside phone
During your stay at the hospital, you will receive breakfast, lunch and supper daily. If you follow a special diet or have food-related allergies or sensitivities, let us know when you arrive.

A bank machine and a changed machine are located in the main lobby.

Water samples must be collected the same morning as drop-off and not the evening before using the water testing bottle and requisition provided by NS Health.

Appointments are required for blood collection service.
If you have a referral, you may book an appointment for blood collection at this location anytime online or by calling toll-free 1-833-998-2722 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
The emergency department is located through the main hospital entrance.
