Traffic Impacts on Robie Street Near Halifax Infirmary – April 25, 2026
 
Nova Scotia Health is advising crane operations will continue on Robie Street, on Saturday, April 25, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. All southbound lanes on Robie Street will be closed between Quinpool Road and Jubilee Road.


Patients and visitors are advised to use alternate routes during this time. Sidewalks and pedestrian access will remain open. The emergency department will remain open and fully accessible throughout the work.

Restorative Care

Restorative Care services works together with patients and families to restore an individual to as independent a life as possible following an illness or injury. The program includes physiotherapy and occupational therapy, exercise, leisure and therapeutic activities, and education/information sessions.

The restorative care team is made up of multiple health care providers and may include: doctors, geriatricians, nurses, occupational therapists, recreation therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, dieticians, pharmacists and/or continuing care workers.
