Severe Hypoglycemia

PL-1257: This pamphlet is part of the Diabetes in Children and Youth Series. This pamphlet lists symptoms of severe (very bad) hypoglycemia, also called low blood glucose. Information on what to do if you have severe hypoglycemia and how to give a glucagon injection is included.

Sick Day Management

PL-0263: This pamphlet is part of the Diabetes in Children and Youth Series. This pamphlet explains how to manage sick days when you are diabetic. Tips on what your child should eat and drink while sick are listed as well as information about when you should take them to the Emergency Department.
