KENTVILLE, N.S. – Patients and visitors are asked to use caution as work is underway to improve accessibility around the entrance of the Valley Regional Hospital emergency department.
The entrance to the emergency department remains open as usual, but there is a temporary fence in the area and patients must use the wheelchair ramp to enter the emergency department.
A curb is being removed to improve safety and make the area more accessible for everyone. Work is expected to be completed in a couple of days.
For the safety of all, patients and visitors are asked to please respect all barriers, directional signage and work crews. There will be extra activity in the area while work is underway.
