Routine IT maintenance on Wednesday, December 17 will cause service interruptions between midnight and 6:00am affecting the YourHealthNS app and on-line appointment booking including COVID-19 testing, blood collection, X-Ray, EKG and the Need a Family Practice Registry.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Scheduled power outage part of electrical upgrades taking place at St. Mary’s Memorial Hospital

On Wednesday, Dec. 17, a scheduled power outage will take place at St. Mary's Memorial Hospital in Sherbrooke from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to complete electrical upgrades at the hospital. 

During the outage:

  • the front entrance will not be accessible, except for the ramp. Patients, visitors, staff and physicians will need to use the hospital’s back entrance.

  • the Emergency Department will remain open.

  • the phone system will continue to make and receive calls.

  • the internet will not be available onsite in the afternoon.

  • mitigation measures, like extra lighting, will be in place as required.

Please use caution in any areas where work is underway and follow any signage that is in place. 

If you have an appointment that is impacted by the outage, you will be contacted directly by the service or department.
