Repair work leads to temporary accessible parking changes at Cape Breton Regional Hospital

Temporary changes are being made to the accessible parking lot (P4) at Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney to accommodate repair work on an emergency generator at the hospital. The repair work is expected to be completed in early July.

The accessible parking lot (P4) is located on the hospital's southwest corner along Regional Hospital Boulevard and down from the Cape Breton Cancer Centre.

On Saturday, June 1, the parking lot will close to all vehicles at 2 p.m. to move repair equipment into the lot. The parking lot will reopen to vehicles on Sunday, June 2 at 6 p.m.

When the lot reopens, the repair equipment will impact some accessible parking spots. These spots have been relocated to the front public parking lot and the side public/staff parking lot (P3) while the repair work is underway.

Nova Scotia Health appreciates your patience and cooperation while this work is underway.
