Nova Scotia Health seeks public input on new Antigonish collaborative practice clinic
Nova Scotia Health is looking to engage with Antigonish Town & County residents about a new collaborative practice clinic set to open in Antigonish in 2025, to ensure clinic operations are informed by local experiences.
Who can participate?
Antigonish Town & County residents with experience accessing primary health care in their community are invited to participate in a one-on-one session through an online application. The number of sessions will be limited, so applications may be vetted to ensure Antigonish’s diverse population is represented.
How will we collect feedback?
During the one-on-one sessions, participants will take a facilitator through their journey of accessing health care. Sessions will last approximately one hour.
When and where will these sessions take place?
These sessions will take place at the People’s Place Antigonish Town & County Library, 283 Main St., Antigonish, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, Thursday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 17. Successful applicants will be contacted in early November to schedule their one-on-one session.
Nova Scotia Health is exploring additional options for community engagement, recognizing some will be unable to participate in the one-on-one sessions.
