Traffic Impacts on Robie Street Near Halifax Infirmary – April 25, 2026

Nova Scotia Health is advising crane operations will continue on Robie Street, on Saturday, April 25, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. All southbound lanes on Robie Street will be closed between Quinpool Road and Jubilee Road.

Patients and visitors are advised to use alternate routes during this time. Sidewalks and pedestrian access will remain open. The emergency department will remain open and fully accessible throughout the work.

Need a Family Practice Registry Update, August 2025

As of Aug. 1, there are 87,879 Nova Scotians on the Need a Family Practice Registry.

The last published number was on July 1, when there were 89,455 Nova Scotians on the registry.

In July 2025 a total of 1,576 more people were attached to a provider or removed as a result of ongoing validation work that confirmed they have a provider, than requested registration.

The percentage of the population on the registry is 8.3 per cent. Nova Scotia Health will next update the registry in early September.
