Need a Family Practice Registry Update, April 2025

As of April 1, 2025, there are 93,682 Nova Scotians on the Need a Family Practice Registry.

The last published number was on March 3, 2025, when there were 95,875 Nova Scotians on the registry.

In total, 2,193 people were attached or removed as a result of ongoing validation work that confirmed they have a provider in March 2025. The percentage of the population on the registry is 8.8.

Nova Scotia Health will next update the registry in early May.
