Inpatient Withdrawal Management Unit at All Saints Hospital, Springhill reopens May 6
The Inpatient Withdrawal Management Unit at All Saints Hospital, Springhill, will reopen for admissions on Monday, May 6 at 7 a.m.
Starting Monday, May 6 at 7 a.m., inpatient services will resume including:
- Education on substance use
- Time with a staff member to assess and understand individual needs
- One-on-one support
- Group sessions
- Distribution of harm reduction supplies
- Assessments for withdrawal management, and
- Withdrawal management care and support
This service is open 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday.
If you are interested in learning more about this service, the Provincial Intake Service is available by calling (toll-free) 1-855-922-1122. Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including all weekday holidays, and Tuesdays and Thursdays until 8 p.m. Voicemail is available after hours and a message can be left requesting a call back during regular hours. Intake provides triage, screening, and navigation for Mental Health and Addiction Programs, where an intake clinician can help determine what services and supports best meet the needs of the person seeking help.
