Blood collection, sample drop-off services at Eastern Kings & Western Kings temporarily relocated
ANNAPOLIS VALLEY, N.S. – Blood collection and specimen sample drop-off services at Eastern Kings Memorial Community Health Centre in Wolfville (EKM), and Western Kings Memorial Community Health Centre in Berwick (WKM) are being temporarily relocated to other locations.
People who would usually drop off a specimen sample for testing (e.g. urine, stool, etc.) at EKM or WKM can now do so at another location offering this service. Specimen drop off locations and times are online: Specimen Testing | Nova Scotia Health (nshealth.ca)
People with blood collection appointments at EKM or WKM are being contacted about having their appointment re-booked at another site. All blood collection services require a booked appointment. For more information on blood collection locations and times, visit Nova Scotia Health’s website: http://www.nshealth.ca/blood-collection
Work is ongoing to address staffing challenges at EKM and WKM in order to restore Lab services as soon as possible.
