Parking
Cobequid Community Health Centre has a paid parking lot for patients and visitors. When you enter the parking lot you will be given a ticket. Take this ticket with you into the health centre. When you leave, there are two machines to pay for your parking inside the main lobby and the emergency room waiting area. The machines accept cash or credit card.
The following rates apply:
- $1 per hour up to a maximum of $5 a day (per single entry)

Open Monday to Friday: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Bank Machines
There is a bank machine located in the main lobby.
Spiritual Spaces and Quiet Rooms
There is a place of prayer and meditation located on the upper level. Requests for spiritual care can be made by patients, family members and/or any member of the inter-disciplinary health care team.

Mobile Primary Care Units
There is no appointment necessary for this clinic.
People who need help with transportation can call 211 Nova Scotia for community resources and supports.
Blood Collection Location
Appointments are required for blood collection service.
If you have a referral, you may book an appointment for blood collection at this location anytime online or by calling 902-473-2074 or toll-free 1-833-942-2298 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
This location has safe and secure child play areas in sight of the collection booths.
Specimen Testing Dropoff Site
Closed for holidays.
Emergency Care Site
The emergency department has a separate entrance on the main level. It is open daily from 7 a.m. to midnight. For after hours emergency service, please go to the Halifax Infirmary or Dartmouth General Hospital.

To access the mental health mobile crisis team call 902-429-8167 or toll-free at 1-888-429-8167. This is a 24 hour, seven days a week phone service to help you or your loved one cope with mental health and addiction challenges in the moment.

Samples must be collected using the water sample bottles provided by NS Health. E.Coli & Coliform testing is a white top 100 ML bottle / Chemical & Mineral testing is a black top 200 ML bottle
