Virtual Urgent Care at Soldiers Memorial Hospital
Public Open House – drop-in session
Thursday, October 24
Drop-in any time between 3 to 6 p.m.
Carousel Room, Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Middleton
Virtual Urgent Care is available at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, even when the emergency department is closed at these times: Monday to Friday 11 a.m. to 7p.m. and Saturday & Sunday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Please note patients are accepted for virtual urgent care appointments up to 30 minutes before closing.
Virtual urgent care is an option for people to access care for urgent, non-life-threatening health issues. Some examples of what may be able to be seen through a virtual appointment include: prescription refills; sinus congestion; coughs and sore throat; urinary tract infections; skin concerns; bites and stings; mild/moderate aches and pains; and other conditions as assessed by your healthcare provider.
Virtual Urgent Care is not a replacement for the local emergency department but will be particularly helpful during times when the local emergency department is temporarily closed. When an emergency department is closed, patients with emergency health matters should call 911.
