PSA: Renovations at the QEII Health Sciences Centre emergency department

As the QEII Redevelopment Project continues, renovations are scheduled to resume in the emergency department at the QEII Health Sciences Centre.

On April 15, patients and visitors will notice construction in the department waiting room area. The upgrades will improve care by providing a better experience for both patients and staff.

The project is expected to last approximately eight weeks. To help during this time, a second emergency department patient advocate will be assigned to support patients and staff.

We are working hard to minimize the impact of construction and ensure safety, comfort and privacy for those in the waiting room.

Nova Scotia Health greatly appreciates your cooperation and understanding throughout this process.
