New Public Health Mobile Unit immunization and testing clinics added this week
The Public Health Mobile Unit has added two new clinics this week:
Northern Zone:
Rawdon District Fire Department
3869 NS Trunk 14, Upper Rawdon
Thursday, Dec. 18 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Central Zone:
Lawrencetown Community Centre
3657 Lawrencetown Rd., Lawrencetown
Friday, Dec. 19 from 1 - 5:30 p.m.
Drop-in only, no appointment needed.
Public Health Mobile Unit clinics will offer the following services for those who are eligible:

COVID-19 vaccine (6 months+)

Standard Influenza vaccine (6 months+)

Seniors’ Influenza vaccine (65+)

Adult RSV vaccine (75+)

Pneumococcal vaccine (65+)

Shingles vaccine (65+)
-
COVID-19 and Influenza tests (eligibility varies, see www.nshealth.ca/coronavirustesting)
Unless otherwise noted, booked appointments and limited drop-ins are available for COVID-19, Influenza and adult RSV vaccines and COVID-19 and influenza tests. Pneumococcal and Shingles vaccines are drop-in only.

Infant RSV vaccines are not available at Public Health Mobile Units.
Please note:
- Vaccines are offered to people aged 6 months and older who are eligible.
- Vaccines and testing are free and available to all who meet eligibility requirements.
- Please bring your health card if you have one.
- Please dress accordingly as you may have to wait in line outside.
- Clinics may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
- Public Health Mobile Unit clinics have masks available. If you have symptoms, you are required to put on a mask when entering the clinic and for your appointment/visit.
- Public Health Mobile Unit does not provide primary healthcare. There will not be a doctor, physician assistant or nurse practitioner at these clinics. You can learn more about Mobile Primary Care Clinics here.
