Culturally specific Black Health and Wellness Immunization Clinics enable people of African descent to receive vaccinations in a place that feels familiar and respectful. Appointments are not needed to attend Black Health and Wellness Immunization Clinics, drop-ins are welcome. Although these clinics are culturally specific, all are welcome to attend.
The following Black Health and Wellness Clinics will be held over the next week:
Bridgetown Fire Department
31 Bay Rd., Bridgetown
Monday, Jan. 6 from 11:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Louis Millett Community Complex
9489 Commercial St., New Minas
Tuesday, Jan. 7 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
These clinics will offer the following services:
· COVID-19 Immunizations (ages 6 months and older)
· Standard influenza vaccines (ages 6 months to 64 years)
· Enhanced influenza vaccines (ages 65 and older)
· Pneumococcal vaccines (ages 65 and older, and those with high-risk health conditions)
· COVID-19 and influenza testing
· Interpretation services available

Please note:
- Vaccines and testing are free and available to all who meet eligibility requirements.
- Please bring your health card if you have one.
- Please dress accordingly as you may have to wait in line outside.
- Clinics may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
- Vaccination clinics are healthcare environments and masks are required. A mask will be offered to you when you arrive.
