Please plan for extra travel time when coming to the QEII Halifax Infirmary. As of February 18, the easternmost, northbound lane of Robie Street will be closed for the duration of the Halifax Infirmary Expansion Project, leaving two lanes open. Chronic pain services helps individuals manage pain and improve their health, function and well-being. The chronic pain teams provides assessments, treatments and education for people with chronic pain.
The teams may include doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers and other health care professionals that specialize in pain management. Services vary based on facility, area of the province and level of care.
We are here to support you in your pain management journey. We will work with you and your primary care provider to arm you with tools and strategies to help manage your pain and improve your quality of life.
