The Nova Scotia Health Information Management and Technology team will be conducting the regular monthly Qmatic IT platform maintenance on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 0000 – 0600, which will cause the following appointment booking websites to be briefly unavailable.
During this regular downtime every third Wednesday of every month, some services used by YourHealthNS may be unavailable for a brief period while servers are patched and rebooted. Details on services and impacts to YourHealthNS are provided below:
COVID-19 testing, blood collection, X-Ray, EKG appointment booking websites to be briefly unavailable.
The websites to book appointments for blood collection, X-Rays, EKGs (https://booking.nshealth.ca) and COVID-19 testing (https://www.nshealth.ca/coronavirustesting) will be unavailable on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, from 0000 – 0600. This is necessary for routine IT updates. During this time, the public will be unable to book appointments on-line and Nova Scotia Health staff will be unable to view the calendar or book online appointments for these services. Some services used by YourHealthNS may be unavailable for a brief period while servers are patched and rebooted.
