Halifax Clinical Psychology Residency Program

The Halifax Clinical Psychology Residency Program provides training in a range of inpatient and outpatient settings. We have six positions across three adult training tracks:

Mental Health and Addictions (4 positions);
Health Psychology (1 position); and
Neuropsychology (1 position).

The salary is $51,675 per year.

Our program is accredited by the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA). Our last site visit for reaccreditation was in May, 2024. We are also a member of the Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC), and we abide by their application and matching regulations.

Applications should be submitted by the end of the day on Friday, November 15th, 2024 in order to guarantee consideration for the 2025-2026 training year.

Interviews will take place on January 3, January 6, January 7, January 8, and January 9, 2025. To minimize the stress and financial costs associated with travel, and consistent with the recommendations put forward by the Canadian Council of Professional Psychology Programs, we will only be offering virtual interviews.
