Traffic disruptions near Covington Place in Truro

Nova Scotia Health advises those with appointments at Covington Place (332 Willow Street, Truro) to plan extra travel time due to construction at the intersection of McClures Mills Road and Willow Street.

Work will continue until November, resulting in significant traffic disruptions and detours. Individuals and families are reminded that the back entrance on McClures Mills Road is not accessible at this time, so please use caution when entering and exiting the main entrance on Willlow Street.

We value your easy access to appointments. We try to notify clients about changes to street entrances due to the construction when we know in advance. If you have any questions about access to the site, please call your clinic or healthcare provider.

Patient concerns arising from the service interruption that require follow-up are encouraged to contact us through our patient relations line by calling toll-free 1-844-884-4177 or by emailing patientfeedback@nshealth.ca

We are working with the Town of Truro to minimize construction impacts and ensure safety. Plan ahead, consider alternative routes and watch for construction crews and signage.
