PSA: Mobile primary care clinic in Sydney

The mobile upper respiratory access clinic has this upcoming date:

Cape Breton Regional Hospital – Ambulatory Care Clinic
1482 George Street, Sydney

  • Saturday, May 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

The clinic will address non-urgent, low-acuity respiratory issues and is not an emergency service.  Types of concerns that may be addressed at the clinic include:

  • Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)
  • Influenza
  • COVID
  • Shortness of breath
  • Cough
  • Ear pain
  • Sore throat

This is not a drop-in clinic. To schedule an appointment, please call 902-574-3275. Phone lines will be open at 8 a.m. on May 11 for same-day appointment booking. The number of appointments each day is limited. Hospital parking rates apply at $3.00. 

Upon arrival at the clinic, you will be asked the reason for your visit to ensure your concerns can be treated. Please have your health card ready.

  • Nova Scotians can now access VirtualCareNS, which provides free, temporary access to primary health care. Visit www.virtualcarens.ca to register or request a virtual visit. VirtualCareNS is not an emergency service.
