Black health and wellness immunization clinic in Hammonds Plains

Culturally specific Black health and wellness immunization clinics enable people of African descent to receive vaccinations in a place that feels familiar and respectful.

Appointments are not needed to attend these clinics. Drop-ins are welcome. Although these clinics are culturally specific, all are welcome.

This week, the following Black health and wellness clinic will be held in Hammonds Plains:

Emmanuel Baptist Church (EBC)
633 Pockwock Rd., Hammonds Plains
Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. 

The clinic will offer the following services:

  • COVID-19 Immunizations (ages six months and older)
  • Standard influenza vaccines (ages six months to 64 years)
  • Enhanced influenza vaccines (ages 65 and older)
  • Pneumococcal vaccines (ages 65 and older, and those with high-risk health conditions)
  • COVID-19 and influenza testing
  • Interpretation services available by request.

Please note:

  • Vaccines and testing are free and available to all who meet eligibility requirements. 
  • Please bring your health card if you have one. 
  • Please dress accordingly as you may have to wait in line outside. 
  • Clinics may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
  • Vaccination clinics are healthcare environments and masks are required. A mask will be offered to you when you arrive.
