Meals on Wheels

The Meals on Wheels Program  provides nutritious meals to people in their homes who are unable to prepare adequate meals for themselves because of illness, infirmity or handicap.  It helps people maintain their independence and remain in their homes. Meals on Wheels also allows for regular personal contact and some socialization.

Meals are prepared in a full, licensed kitchen at Yarmouth Regional Hospital by the Nutrition and Food Services Department.
Meals are delivered by volunteers.

Fee: $3.75 per meal – Billed on a monthly basis by Yarmouth Regional Hospital.
It is available at noon, Monday to Friday, including holidays and Christmas.
