As part of the “detailed design” phase of planning of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) Health Care Redevelopment project, Cape Breton Cancer Centre staff and physicians are using simulation tools to gain a sense of how the new builds will look and function.
The redevelopment and expansion of perioperative services at Dartmouth General Hospital has been ongoing since 2017 when the facility broke ground on its new addition.
COVID-19 testing is available through the Public Health Mobile Unit at the Middleton Fire Hall on the following dates:
Monday, Dec. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Passengers on Air Canada flight 614 travelling on Dec. 5 from Toronto (2:25 p.m.) to Halifax (5:15 p.m.) in rows 22 to 28, seats DEF. All other passengers on this flight should continue to self-isolate as required and monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19. It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight may develop symptoms up to, and including, December 19.
