Emergency Department
All Saint Springhill Hospital’s Collaborative Emergency Centre is temporarily closed. A virtual urgent care service will be available onsite daily. Please check the schedule here.
Blood Collection Clinic
Please be advised that the blood collection clinic at the Halifax Infirmary is now closed.
For blood collection services, you can book an appointment at an alternate location online anytime or by calling 902-473-2074 or toll-free 1-833-942-2298 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
Patients must be 12 years and older.

Driver Evaluation Program
The Driver Evaluation Program at Nova Scotia Health is temporarily on hold. We are retaining existing referrals with the goal of resuming services in the future and are continuing to accept new referrals as they are received. A written referral from a doctor is still required to participate in the program.
Emergency Department
Soldiers Memorial Hospital emergency department is OPEN 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays in February and March.
Virtual Urgent Care is open, even when the emergency department is closed, at these times: Mon. to Fri. 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sat. & Sun. 8a.m. to 4 p.m.

The emergency department at Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston will be closed:
- Wednesday, Feb. 26 from 7 a.m. to Thursday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m.
- Friday, Feb. 28 from 7 a.m. to Monday, Mar. 3 at 10 a.m.

Eastern Memorial Hospital's emergency dept is closed until Wed., Mar. 5, 12pm. Virtual urgent care: Mon.-Tues., 8am-5pm; Wed.- Fri., 8am-2pm. Canso Medical Clinic: Mon., Feb. 24-Fri., Feb. 28, 9am-5pm.; appt only, virtual evening appts. Call 902-366-3233. Urgent treatment clinic: Sat., Mar. 1 & Sun., Mar. 2, 9am-5pm. Call 902-366-3268 for same-day appt.

Queens General Hospital’s emergency department is OPEN 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26.
Virtual Urgent Care is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily (Mon.-Sun.), even when the emergency dept. is closed. Patients accepted for Virtual Urgent Care appointments up to 60 minutes before closing.
Emergency Department
The emergency department at Guysborough Memorial Hospital will be closed:
- Monday, Feb. 24 at 6 pm to Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 8 am
- Thursday, Feb. 27 at 7 am to Friday, Feb. 28, at 8 am
Virtual urgent care is onsite Monday to Friday from 11 am to 7 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm

The Hants Community Hospital emergency department in Windsor will be closed on Sunday, Feb. 23 from 4 p.m. until 7 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 24.
