Emergency Department
All Saint Springhill Hospital’s Collaborative Emergency Centre is temporarily closed. A virtual urgent care service will be available onsite daily. Please check the schedule here.
Blood Collection Clinic
Please be advised that the blood collection clinic at the Halifax Infirmary is now closed.
For blood collection services, you can book an appointment at an alternate location online anytime or by calling 902-473-2074 or toll-free 1-833-942-2298 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday to Friday (excluding holidays).
Patients must be 12 years and older.

Driver Evaluation Program
The Driver Evaluation Program at Nova Scotia Health is temporarily on hold. We are retaining existing referrals with the goal of resuming services in the future and are continuing to accept new referrals as they are received. A written referral from a doctor is still required to participate in the program.

Soldiers Memorial Hospital emergency department is OPEN 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.
Virtual Urgent Care is open, even when the emergency department is closed, at these times: Mon. to Fri. 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sat. & Sun. 8a.m. to 4 p.m.
Emergency Department
Emergency department is OPEN 24 hours daily from 8 a.m. Monday to 1:30 p.m. Friday. It is closed at 1:30 p.m. Friday and re-opens 8 a.m. Monday (closed Sat.&Sun.)
Virtual Urgent Care is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily (Mon. to Sun.), even when emergency dept. is closed. Patients accepted for appointments up to 60 mins before closing.

Eastern Memorial Hospital's emergency department is closed until 12pm on Mon., Mar. 31. Virtual urgent care: Mon.-Tues. from 8am-5pm; Wed.-Fri. from 8am-2pm. Canso Medical Clinic: Mar. 24 to Mar. 28, from 12pm-5pm. Call 902-366-2633 for appt. Urgent treatment clinic: Mar. 29 & Mar. 30 from 9am-5pm. Call 902-366-3268 both days for appts.
Urgent Treatment Centres
The Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Urgent Treatment Centre in Tatamagouche is closed Saturday, March 29 to Monday, March 31.
Emergency Department
North Cumberland Health Care Centre's Collaborative Emergency Centre in Pugwash is closed Sunday, March 30 to Monday, March 31. Virtual urgent care will be available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The emergency department at Guysborough Memorial Hospital will be closed:
- Wednesday, Mar. 26 at 11 p.m. until Friday, Mar. 28 at 8 a.m.
- Monday, Mar. 31 at 7 a.m. until Thursday, Apr. 3 at 8 a.m.
Virtual urgent care onsite Monday-Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. & weekends from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hours subject to change.
Emergency Department
The emergency department at Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston will be closed:
- Wednesday, Apr. 2 at 7 a.m. until Thursday, Apr. 3 at 10 a.m.
- Friday, Apr. 4 at 7 a.m. until 10 a.m.
