Service reintroduction notices from Nova Scotia Health Authority

(last updated June 26, 2020)

Nova Scotia Health Authority is reintroducing and/or increasing activity levels of programs and services that were slowed or suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In this section you will find information related to the progress we are making to reintroduce programs and services in some key service areas including surgery.

The timelines for when various programs and services will resume will be different across our many programs and services and may be different at hospitals and community sites across the province. Our work to reintroduce services will take time.

The June 25, 2020 update provides information on our efforts to increase access to surgery, endoscopy and diagnostic imaging services.  Information on these and other services is also available below.

If you have any questions, please contact your health care team directly. If you feel there has been a change in your health status please contact your physician, nurse practitioner or care team. You can also call 811 for health advice or contact NSHA Patient Relations at 1-844-884-4177.
