How do I access this service?

If an individual is in need of psychiatric treatment we recommend they first see their family doctor.

If a problem is of so urgent a nature that a person cannot wait to see their doctor, or they have no doctor, they can go directly to the closest emergency department. That person will be seen by an emergency physician and based on their assessment will determine if an urgent mental health assessment is necessary.
