Paving work taking place at Sacred Heart Community Health Centre

CHETICAMP, N.S. – Paving work is underway at Sacred Heart Community Health Centre in Cheticamp as part of regular facility maintenance.

Work began on Friday, Oct. 23 and is expected to continue over the weekend and into next week. Traffic control measures will be in place as traffic may be reduced to one lane in some areas. Pylons will also be in place to identify areas that are closed for paving.

While work is underway, the main access route to the site will be impacted. Signs will be in place directing people to use an alternative driveway to access the site. The alternative driveway is next to the main access route.

Staff, physicians and public will be able to access entrances to the facility while paving is underway. Please use caution as you enter and exit the centre’s grounds and if you are near areas outside the centre where work is being done. Avoid any areas that have pylons and obey any traffic personnel on site. Also, please adhere to COVID-19 measures including visitor restrictions, social distancing, wearing a non-medical mask and good hand hygiene.

Nova Scotia Health appreciates your patience and cooperation while this work is underway.
